MLB Note - Kansas City Royals Perez, Salvador
Aug 16, 2017 - 11:09 AM C Salvador Perez, who has been on the disabled list since Aug. 6 due to a right intercostal strain, continued his rehabilitation work Tuesday but did not swing the bat. He took pain-free swings off the batting tee at 30-40 percent effort on Monday. "He came out and threw," Royals manager Ned Yost said. "Didn't hit today. He's taking the day off from hitting. He threw to second. He's throwing 100 percent. Now it's just his hitting progression. Feeling good, making progress every day."No one has shouted yet.
