MLB Note - San Diego Padres Renfroe, Hunter
Aug 16, 2017 - 11:09 AM RF Hunter Renfroe was dropped to eighth in the batting order Tuesday night for the first time this season. Renfroe is in a 3-for-26 slump since Aug. 7 with 13 strikeouts, although he drew a walk and was hit by a pitch Tuesday night while going 0-for-2. "Right now, it is incumbent on Renfroe to make an adjustment," Padres manager Andy Green said. "They've pretty much attacked him the same way for the last month. Until he makes an adjustment, they're going to continue to attack him the same way. It's a real challenge for him right now. I don't think he's afraid of any challenge, but it's time to start adjusting back."No one has shouted yet.
