MLB Note - New York Mets Wagner, Neil

Aug 16, 2017 - 11:08 AM RHP Neil Wagner was signed to a minor league contract by the Mets Tuesday and assigned to Triple-A Las Vegas. Wagner last appeared in the majors when he pitched in 10 games for the Toronto Blue Jays. In 52 games with Oakland and Toronto, he is 2-4 with a 4.92 ERA. This season, he was 0-1 with a 3.07 ERA in 32 appearances for Triple-A Durham. He was a non-roster invitee to spring training for the Rays, who initially signed him to a minor league contract Sept. 17, 2014, after his release from the Blue Jays.
