MLB Note - Seattle Mariners Paxton, James

Aug 17, 2017 - 8:55 AM LHP James Paxton, on the disabled list since Aug.11 with a strained left pectoral muscle, is scheduled to be re-examined by team Dr. Edward Khalfayan on Friday and is hopeful of being cleared to play catch this weekend. "It's getting a lot better," Paxton told MLB.com. "I'm real close to getting on the throwing program and getting back out there again."
