MLB Note - St. Louis Cardinals Brebbia, John
Aug 17, 2017 - 8:56 AM RHP John Brebbia, a Boston native who grew up a Red Sox fan, was in line for his first major league save, in his 30th career appearance, when he surrendered the losing hit to Mookie Betts on Wednesday night. "Brebbia's done a nice job," said manager Mike Matheny. "He made some really nice pitches there in a really, really tough situation. So I think he continues to go up in our view of how we can use him."No one has shouted yet.
