MLB Note - Kansas City Royals Cain, Lorenzo
Aug 17, 2017 - 8:55 AM CF Lorenzo Cain hit his 13th home run of the season, a 421-foot, two-run shot in the fourth inning of a 7-6 victory against Oakland on Wednesday afternoon. Cain crushed RHP Paul Blackburn's 3-1 fastball over the center field fence. He went 2-for-3, walked and was hit by a pitch. "He's always a key part of our offense and part of our team," Royals manager Ned Yost said. "It just seems like when he's going good we're going good. He just absolutely crushed that ball to center field , that home run, which was a big home run at that point."No one has shouted yet.
