MLB Note - Atlanta Braves Kemp, Matt
Aug 17, 2017 - 8:56 AM LF Matt Kemp (right hamstring strain) ran rigorously, did agility drills and took batting practice and will do so again Friday before possibly being activated Saturday. Two days ago, after Kemp ran, manager Brian Snitker said Kemp might be activated Friday. But Snitker said Andrew Hauser, the Braves director of player health and performance, decided to test Kemp's hamstring again Friday in Atlanta. "They ran him good," Snitker said, "liked the way he was, but Andrew said he wanted to do it again on Friday. I'm hoping that if he does that Friday, they'll activate him on Saturday. We'll see. Something may happen tomorrow. But right now that's kind of (the plan)."No one has shouted yet.
