Aug 17, 2017 - 8:56 AM RHP Paul Blackburn made his ninth career start and gave up four runs on eight hits over four innings, getting a no-decision in a 7-6 loss to Kansas City on Wednesday at the Oakland Coliseum. The outing was the shortest of Blackburn's career. He had pitched at least 5 1/3 innings in each of his first eight starts in this, his rookie season. Blackburn struck out two and walked three. "It's tough when I fall behind every batter," Blackburn said. "That's kind of on me. I've got to do better than that."
