MLB Note - Texas Rangers Mazara, Nomar
Aug 17, 2017 - 8:56 AM RF Nomar Mazara went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and three RBIs in Texas' 12-6 victory over Detroit on Wednesday. The three-hit game was the 22-year-old's third in his past seven games. He also has 20 RBIs in his past 18 games. With a team-leading 77 RBIs on the season, he might be sniffing 100 after a full 162 games. "When you drive in somebody, that's how you win games," Mazara said. "It's been important to me. I've been trying to focus more when I have men in scoring position, and I've been putting the ball in play. When you put the ball in play, good things happen."No one has shouted yet.
