MLB Note - Oakland Athletics Neal, Zach

Aug 17, 2017 - 8:55 AM RHP Zach Neal was designated for assignment Wednesday, clearing a spot on the A's 40-man roster for LHP Sam Moll, who was acquired from Colorado on Wednesday for a player to be named later or cash considerations. Neal, who had been pitching for Triple-A Nashville, had a 7.98 ERA in six relief appearances for the A's this year. Last year he was 2-4 with a 4.24 ERA in 24 games, including six starts, for the A's.
