MLB Note - San Francisco Giants Tomlinson, Kelby
Aug 18, 2017 - 8:02 AM INF/OF Kelby Tomlinson made the defensive play of the game in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. With the Phillies having scored twice to close within 5-3, and still having men at first and third with no outs, the second baseman dove to his right to deny 1B Tommy Joseph a potential RBI single to center field. From the ground, Tomlinson flipped the ball to SS Brandon Crawford, who relayed to first for a rally-killing double play.No one has shouted yet.
