MLB Note - Washington Nationals Harper, Bryce

Aug 18, 2017 - 8:03 AM RF Bryce Harper is on the West Coast trip but certainly not in a playing capacity. Harper is out for an indefinite time period with a knee injury. "He's not cleared to do much but he is part of this team," manager Dusty Baker said. "It's not like football where you shelf some guy until he is ready to play." Harper contributed recently to Howie Kendrick being thrust into a starting role in right field. Harper is sharing knowledge with Kendrick about the various angles and nuances of playing that spot.
