MLB Note - Colorado Rockies Chatwood, Tyler
Aug 18, 2017 - 8:02 AM RHP Tyler Chatwood worked two scoreless innings Wednesday in his third relief appearance. He had not pitched in five days since he worked a scoreless 12th inning at Cleveland on Aug. 9 to earn his second career save and first since April 11, 2012. Chatwood, who is 6-12 with a 5.06 ERA, lost his spot in the Rockies rotation, said he has been surprised how quickly he can get loose in the bullpen. He can be a free agent after the season and doesn't figure to return to the Rockies. When asked his work in long relief can make him more marketable, Chatwood said: "I'm going into free agency as a starter. I think I have a pretty good track record at it. We'll see what happens."No one has shouted yet.
