MLB Note - Philadelphia Phillies Beato, Pedro
Aug 18, 2017 - 8:03 AM RHP Pedro Beato was designated for assignment Thursday to create a spot on the 40-man roster for INF/OF Pedro Florimon, who was promoted from Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Beato retired both batters he faced in his only appearance for the Phillies this season on July 29 against the Atlanta Braves. However, Beato suffered a hamstring injury in the game and hadn't pitched since.No one has shouted yet.
