MLB Note - San Francisco Giants Reynolds, Matt

Aug 18, 2017 - 8:03 AM INF Matt Reynolds was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas Thursday, when he started at third base and went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in the Mets' 7-5 loss to the Yankees. This is the fourth trip to the majors this season for Reynolds, who received just 49 at-bats in his earlier stints but is expected to play at least semi-regularly at third base while INF Jose Reyes (left rib cage) is on the 10-day disabled list and INF Wilmer Flores (left rib cage) remains day-to-day. Reynolds is batting .226 with one homer and three RBIs in 38 games for the Mets this season.
