MLB Note - Washington Nationals Scherzer, Max

Aug 19, 2017 - 8:32 AM RHP Max Scherzer was placed on the disabled list after being scratched from his start on Friday night against the Padres. Scherzer is bothered by a sore neck, a similar ailment that derailed his earlier this year. Scherzer, a two-time Cy Young Award winner, said he doesn't consider this to be a long-term injury and that he would make his start next Friday against the New York Mets.
