MLB Note - Chicago White Sox Holland, Derek

Aug 20, 2017 - 8:19 AM LHP Derek Holland continued to struggle Saturday. Holland allowed seven runs on six hits in 2 2/3 innings and also walked four batters. In his last 11 starts, Holland is now 1-7 with a 9.55 ERA. He's allowed seven earned runs in each of his last two starts and they've lasted a total of 4 2/3 innings. "It's very frustrating," Holland said. "(Pitching coach Don) Coop (Cooper) and I have been doing a great job of working every single bullpen, just working on pitches and location. I continue to keep repeating the same things. That makes it more frustrating that we go out there and do all that stuff and I just don't do my job."
