MLB Note - San Diego Padres Blash, Jabari

Aug 20, 2017 - 8:20 AM OF Jabari Blash was recalled from Triple-A El Paso to fill RF Hunter Renfroe's spot. Blash hit .298 in 16 games with four doubles, two homers and 10 RBIs in 16 games with the Padres in July when Renfroe was on the disabled list. He also drew six walks for a .377 on-base percentage. "He's going to play consistently right now," manager Andy Green said of Blash. "He's going to get an opportunity. He came up in July and honestly at the end of July when he went back down there was a decision right then if we were going to send Hunter down or Jabari down.
