Aug 20, 2017 - 8:20 AM 3B Rafael Devers hit his eighth homer in 20 major league games and joined Babe Ruth as the only players ever to hit home runs in three straight games against the Yankees before the age of 21. He joined George Scott (1966) as the only Red Sox hitters in the last 100 years with eight homer in his first 20 games. His 28 hits through 20 games are the most by a Red Sox hitter since Johnny Pesky had 28 in 1942 - and he joins Ted Williams and Tony Conigliaro as the only hitters to hit homers in back-to-back games at Fenway Park before the age of 21.No one has shouted yet.
