MLB Note - Cleveland Indians Tomlin, Josh
Aug 20, 2017 - 8:21 AM RHP Josh Tomlin, who is on the disabled list with a pulled left hamstring, will throw a simulated game Monday. "He's going to face some hitters on Monday," Indians manager Terry Francona said. "We'll put it together. Hopefully it's not during the eclipse so anybody loses their eyesight or anything. But we'll get that all figured out. He's handling pitching pretty good. We've got to make sure he doesn't hurt himself doing other things. He's got to be able to field his position, cover first and things. So, we're trying to balance that, because we don't want to slow him down. But we all know Tomlin enough to know that he's kind of willing to pitch through everything, so you've got to keep an eye on him a little bit."No one has shouted yet.
