MLB Note - Los Angeles Dodgers Pederson, Joc
Aug 20, 2017 - 8:19 AM CF Joc Pederson was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday to clear a roster spot for OF Curtis Granderson, acquired in late-Friday trade with the New York Mets. "For Joc, him being optioned to Oklahoma City gives him an opportunity to reset," manager Dave Roberts said. "I think for right now, where he's at in the middle of a swing change, trying to get some consistency. ... it's really hard to continue to perform without looking at the scoreboard when you're looking at your average and trying to win baseball games. So for him to go to OKC and kind of take a breath I think it will be good for him." Pederson was just 2-for-41 in his last 15 games with eight strikeouts. No one has shouted yet.
