MLB Note - New York Yankees Mitchell, Bryan

Aug 21, 2017 - 7:06 AM RHP Bryan Mitchell was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after Sunday's game. Mitchell is 1-1 this year with a 4.67 ERA. His last appearance was Aug. 17 against the New York Mets, when he allowed four runs on three hits and a walk in a 7-5 Yankee victory. Mitchell's demotion likely sets up RHP Masahiro Tanaka's return to active duty.
