Aug 21, 2017 - 7:06 AM RHP A.J. Griffin received no run support for just the second time in starts he's lasted at least five innings since he joined the Rangers to start 2016. Griffin retired nine of the first 12 batters he faced, but five of the first Chicago batters in the fourth inning reached as he allowed three runs. "I just wasn't able to get ahead," Griffin said. "They got a couple of base hits with guys on and scored a couple of runs. Other than that, I thought it was all right. We did a good job of keeping it right there with the bullpen coming in."
