MLB Note - Arizona Diamondbacks Shipley, Braden

Aug 21, 2017 - 7:06 AM RHP Braden Shipley didn't get the start on Sunday after being recalled from Triple-A but he made an early appearance and had an important outing for Arizona. After starter T.J. McFarland lasted just one out while giving up seven runs, Shipley entered and threw 107 pitches in 5 2/3 innings. He gave up five runs -- four earned -- on seven hits. Shipley helped save the Diamondbacks' bullpen but was sent back to Triple-A after the long outing.
