MLB Note - New York Yankees Chapman, Aroldis
Aug 21, 2017 - 7:06 AM LHP Aroldis Chapman entered the game in the sixth inning, retiring four batters, walking one and striking out one, with no runs allowed. It was Chapman's first appearance since Friday night, when he surrendered two runs (both earned) in the eighth inning. After that performance, manager Joe Girardi pulled Chapman out of the closer's role, saying he would start using the Cuban left-hander whenever he saw fit. "When you go out there to pitch, you have to have the same mentality," Chapman said through a translator. "I had the same mentality. The only difference is that I went into the game a little earlier."No one has shouted yet.
