Aug 21, 2017 - 7:06 AM RF Giancarlo Stanton ended a home run "drought" Sunday afternoon, when he hit a three-run shot in the seventh inning of the Marlins' 6-4 win over the New York Mets. Stanton homered in six straight games from Aug. 10-15 before he was held without a homer in the series finale against the Giants last Wednesday and in the first two games of the series against the Mets on Friday and Saturday. He drew six walks in 19 plate appearances between homers. Stanton is batting .286 and leads the majors with a Marlins-record 45 homers while ranking second in the National League with 97 RBIs.
