Aug 22, 2017 - 6:55 AM 3B Rafael Devers was 28-for-80 (.350) in his first 21 major league games, the most hits by a Red Sox player in his first 21 games since Johnny Pesky had 28 in 1942. In his first three games against Cleveland this year, in Boston, Devers was 8-for-12, with two home runs. "It doesn't seem to matter who is pitching, he uses the whole park and hits the ball with authority," said Indians manager Terry Francona. Devers was 0-for-4 with two strikeouts Monday night.No one has shouted yet.
