Gonzalez, 19, will be assigned to the Rangers' short-season Northwest League Spokane club. Gonzalez hit .321 with a .906 OPS in 45 games for Grand Junction in the Pioneer League. MLB.com rated Gonzalez as Colorado's No. 14 prospect.
