MLB Note - Detroit Tigers Reininger, Zac
Aug 24, 2017 - 8:03 AM RHP Zac Reininger had his contract selected from Triple-A Toledo after Wednesday's game. The team needed a fresh arm after using its three long relievers during the first two games of the series against the New York Yankees. Reininger has moved up the chain this season, pitching for three of Detroit's minor-league clubs. In nine relief appearances with the Mud Hens, Reininger is 1-0 with a 1.59 ERA. He has given up just two homers in 63 2/3 innings.No one has shouted yet.
