MLB Note - St. Louis Cardinals Sherriff, Ryan
Aug 24, 2017 - 8:04 AM LHP Ryan Sherriff had his contract purchased from Triple-A Memphis, his first promotion to the majors after six minor league seasons. The 27-year-old was 5-1 with six saves and a 3.19 ERA in a team-high 48 games for the Redbirds, allowing runs in only 11 games. Sherriff becomes the fourth left-hander in a crowded but recently ineffective bullpen.No one has shouted yet.
