MLB Note - Texas Rangers Ross, Tyson
Aug 24, 2017 - 8:04 AM RHP Tyson Ross, who gave up three runs on seven hits and four walks while making 98 pitches in just 3 2/3 innings on Tuesday, is in danger of losing his spot in the starting rotation. Ross has failed to last six innings in any of his past seven starts. For now, Ross is still scheduled to start Sunday in Oakland, but Rangers manager Jeff Banister said RHP Nick Martinez (currently at Triple-A Round Rock) and RHP Austin Bibens-Dirkx also are candidates.No one has shouted yet.
