MLB Note - Colorado Rockies Desmond, Ian

Aug 24, 2017 - 8:03 AM INF/OF Ian Desmond, who has not played since July 25 because of a strained right calf, went through a vigorous pregame workout. He will report Thursday to Triple-A Albuquerque for a three-game rehab assignment. If all goes well, he would rejoin the club Sunday. Desmond hit .285 with eight doubles, five home runs and 32 RBIs in 65 games before going on the disabled list.
