MLB Note - Detroit Tigers Zimmermann, Jordan
Aug 24, 2017 - 8:03 AM RHP Jordan Zimmermann got hit hard once again on Wednesday, as the New York Yankees lit him up for seven runs in five innings. He gave up nine hits and didn't record a strikeout. Zimmermann has allowed seven earned runs in each of his last three starts. He tossed seven shutout innings against the Yankees in his first August start. With three years remaining on his $110 million contract, Zimmermann presents the Tigers with little choice other than to keep running him out there every five days.No one has shouted yet.
