MLB Note - Atlanta Braves Teheran, Julio
Sep 18, 2017 - 9:25 AM RHP Julio Teheran allowed two runs in the first inning and nothing afterward Sunday against the Mets. He pitched six innings and gave up three hits, four walks and struck out seven. The loss snapped Teheran's four-game winning streak. Despite the defeat, Teheran (11-12) has allowed more than two earned runs in just three of his 19 career starts against the Mets. Teheran made his 30th start, the fifth straight season he reached that mark. Only two other pitchers have made 30 starts each season since 2013: San Francisco's Jeff Samardzija and Baltimore's Wade Miley. No one has shouted yet.
