MLB Note - Chicago Cubs Quintana, Jose

Sep 18, 2017 - 9:25 AM LHP Jose Quintana gave up three runs and six hits, struck out eight and walked one in 5 2/3 innings to fall short of his fourth consecutive quality start. He was 3-0 with a 2.60 ERA in three previous starts against St. Louis. His ERA is 3.95 with the Cubs this season, and he has allowed no more than three earned runs in 10 of his 12 starts with Chicago after he was acquired from the White Sox.
