He had never played above Double-A but is making a quick impression, one he added to in Monday's 10-8 loss to the Red Sox. His ground ball double -- which bounced off second base -- drove in two runs in the second, and the rookie finished the night 2-for-5 and has a .316 average since coming up from Bowie on Sept. 5.
