MLB Note - New York Yankees Garcia, Jaime
Sep 19, 2017 - 8:11 AM LHP Jaime Garcia remains winless in seven starts for the Yankees but Monday might have been his best performance. He recorded eight of his nine strikeouts on breaking balls and held the Twins to one run on four hits in 5 2/3 innings. Mondaywas also a unique experience for Garcia, who pitched once for Minnesota on July 28 and was dealt to the Yankees two days later. Even though I was never in Minnesota, in the home clubhouse, I got traded both times on the road, those guys are great guys. Even though I was only there for a week, I came close to some of those guys, guys that have been around for a long time and they've got a great thing in the clubhouse, I really admire the way they do things over there, even though I wasn't there for long, I've got relationships with some of those guys."No one has shouted yet.
