MLB Note - New York Yankees Hicks, Aaron
Sep 19, 2017 - 8:11 AM OF Aaron Hicks (strained left oblique) continued taking swings via tee and toss Monday. He said he might be able to start taking batting practice on the field by the end of the week. Hicks began activities last week by running and throwing and could return by the end of the regular season. Hicks has missed a combined 53 games with two oblique strains. He was placed on the DL Sept. 3, a day after making a running catch at the center field warning track on Boston's Hanley Ramirez.No one has shouted yet.
