MLB Note - Detroit Tigers Ferrell, Jeff
Sep 19, 2017 - 8:12 AM RHP Jeff Ferrell was struck in the head with a Ryon Healy line drive in the eighth inning against Oakland on Monday. He was immediately removed from the game. Ferrell underwent a CT scan, but was alert and responsive while undergoing concussion tests, according to manager Brad Ausmus. Ferrell was making his 11th relief appearance of the season. He spent most of the season with Triple-A Toledo, appearing in 41 games.No one has shouted yet.
