Sep 20, 2017 - 9:12 AM CF Carlos Gomez made his first appearance since suffering sprained ankle on Sept. 9, appearing as a pinch-hitter in the eighth and doubling to right. Banister said the former two-time All-Star said he felt better and tested the ankle Tuesday running before the game. Gomez is hitting .253 with 17 homers and 49 RBIs in 2017.
