MLB Note - Boston Red Sox Benintendi, Andrew
Sep 20, 2017 - 9:12 AM LF Andrew Benintendi keeps finding ways to hurt the Orioles in this series. He got the game-winning hit -- a two-run single -- in the 11th inning of Monday's 10-8 victory and then nailed 3B Manny Machado at home plate in the third inning of this game. Machado was trying to score on 2B Jonathan Schoop's single, but Benintendi easily threw him out at home. That was a crucial play in Boston's 1-0 11-inning victory. "He's improved in so many ways in all phases of the game. He's ... (really) gotten better," Boston manager John Farrell said.No one has shouted yet.
