MLB Note - Boston Red Sox Pomeranz, Drew
Sep 20, 2017 - 9:12 AM LHP Drew Pomeranz continued his strong second-half in Tuesday's game. He threw 6 1/3 scoreless innings, scattering five hits and striking out five with two walks. Pomeranz got some help from his defense, especially LF Andrew Benintendi (throwing runner out at home) and CF Jackie Bradley Jr. (leaping catch at fence) but kept the Red Sox right in the game, which is what they needed. "I felt like I had everything going tonight," he said. "I was throwing four pitches for strikes pretty much the whole night. I felt like I was making pitches all night."No one has shouted yet.
