MLB Note - Detroit Tigers Romine, Andrew
Sep 20, 2017 - 9:12 AM INF/OF Andrew Romine will not play all nine positions in a game during the homestand. Manager Brad Ausmus has kicked around the idea the last couple of weeks. "It's not going to happen here," Ausmus said. If Romine goes around the horn, it will be during the final series at Minnesota if the game has no bearing on the American League playoff race. Romine has pitched in relief during three lopsided games in his career. No one has shouted yet.
