MLB Note - Baltimore Orioles Britton, Zach
Sep 21, 2017 - 9:27 AM LHP Zach Britton might not pitch again this season because of a lingering problem with his left knee.The Orioles plan to further evaluate an MRI on the knee to determine if there is any serious damage. "I think what we're going to end up doing, he's going to get an injection (Thursday) and see where we are in three to five days," Orioles manager Buck Showalter said. "We'll see how he is physically and where we are as a team." Britton is 2-1 with a 2.89 ERA and 15 saves in 17 chances over 38 games this season.
