MLB Note - Detroit Tigers Castellanos, Nick
Sep 21, 2017 - 9:26 AM 3B/RF Nicholas Castellanos extended his career-best hitting streak to 17 games with a sixth-inning single Wednesday. The hit streak is the team's longest since 2011 and the longest active in the majors. Castellanos is batting .418 with nine doubles, five homers and 18 RBI during the streak. He has raised his season average 35 points to .271.No one has shouted yet.
