MLB Note - Miami Marlins O'Grady, Chris

Sep 21, 2017 - 9:26 AM LHP Chris O'Grady (right oblique) was activated from the disabled list on Wednesday. O'Grady, a 27-year-old rookie, is 2-1 with a 5.47 ERA this year. All six of his appearances have come as starters, but the Marlins plan to use him in long relief for the rest of the season. His hits rate per nine innings (8.9) has been solid, but he has to cut down on his walks (5.1). If he can accomplish that, perhaps he can stick on the Marlins' roster to start 2018.
