MLB Note - Kansas City Royals Junis, Jake

Sep 21, 2017 - 9:27 AM RHP Jakob Junis allowed four runs (two earned), three hits and two walks in 6 1/3 innings in the 15-5 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays. It was the sixth straight winning decision for Junis, who is 8-2 for the season. He is 6-0 in his past 10 games (eight starts). It is the longest winning streak by a Royals rookie since Miguel Asencio won six in row in 2002. "We were able to get some good runs early for him, like we're supposed to, and he did the rest," 3B Mike Moustakas said.
