MLB Note - Tampa Bay Rays Kiermaier, Kevin
Sep 22, 2017 - 8:38 AM CF Kevin Kiermaier was held out of the starting lineup Thursday against the Orioles. He entered as a pinch hitter in the ninth inning and flew out to left field to end the game. Kiermaier has played in every game since coming off the disabled list on Aug. 18 following a right hip fracture. He is batting .275 with 14 homers and 38 RBIs over 91 games. Kiermaier had reached base safely for a career-high 14 straight games, dating back to Sept. 4, before flying out.No one has shouted yet.
