MLB Note - Washington Nationals Strasburg, Stephen
Sep 23, 2017 - 8:30 AM RHP Stephen Strasburg will look to win his fifth straight start Saturday night, when he takes the mound for the Nationals in the middle game of a three-game series against the New York Mets at Citi Field. Strasburg earned the victory last Sunday, when he allowed one run on three hits and three walks while striking out eight over six innings as the Nationals beat the Los Angeles Dodgers, 7-1. The run allowed in the second inning snapped a 36-inning scoreless streak for Strasburg, who has lowered his overall ERA from 3.10 to 2.60 over his last five starts. Strasburg is 8-4 with a 2.49 ERA in 15 career starts against the Mets.No one has shouted yet.
