MLB Note - Milwaukee Brewers Nelson, Jimmy
Sep 23, 2017 - 8:30 AM RHP Jimmy Nelson returned to Milwaukee after undergoing arthroscopic surgery earlier in the week to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder. Nelson will not return this season and is expected to miss "a chunk" of 2018, according to GM David Stearns. Nelson wasn't able to put a timetable on his return yet. He was enjoying a breakout season in 2017, going 12-6 with a 3.49 ERA in 29 starts.No one has shouted yet.
